Announces Plans to Cover 2006 SEMDRA Season
Coverage of
Pro-Mod Class to be featured in Georgia & Carolina inserts
2/28/2006
(Swainsboro GA) Paul Phillips, Senior Editor with USRiderNews
announced plans for 2006 monthly post race coverage of the Pro-Mod class
of SEMDRA in the magazine’s state inserts for Georgia and South Carolina.
“Motorcycle drag
racing is an exciting and fast paced sport and the growth of the SEMDRA
series has shown us that there is a readership being underserved in the
print medium for this local series.” Phillips said. “Our editorial focus
covers a broad spectrum of anything pertaining to motorcycles and we hope
the increased exposure to this exciting sport will bring more people into
the SEMDRA stands and ultimately bring more people into our sport and
lifestyle.”
SEMDRA is an acronym
for Southeastern Motorcycle Drag Racing Association. The association will
host six races in 2006 at tracks in Jackson South Carolina, April 29 and
October 21, In Albany May 20 and September 16, and in Valdosta (Cecil Ga)
June 17th and August 19th. A preview of the new
season will be included in the May issue of the magazine, available in
dealerships in late April.
